Sycamore in the Clark Fork Drift Yard

This print is part of my Sandpoint collection, and is an attempt to encapsulate an impressionistic snapshot of glorious summertime in North Idaho. Technically, the location of this print is the Clark Fork drift yard, an incredibly gorgeous collection of waterways in the southeast corner of Lake Pend Oreille. 

I made the print by taking a photograph while kayaking with my family, and then processing it to look more like a painting. It represents our intense love and joy of North Idaho's wild places, and sharing moments in these places with the people we love.
